Introduction to Networks


PART 1 teaches single-well modelling, but what if you want to model the total Field hydrocarbon production system?

Optimising Field production is a complex, non-linear task; one that cannot be achieved by single-well modelling alone. Other specialised techniques are required, the most common of which is Network Analysis.

PART 2 is a short, but nevertheless detailed introduction to Networks. (Video duration ca. 1.5 hrs)

The first video is a walk-through of the core principles behind many common Network software programmes; the second video presents Case Studies – practical examples of Networks used in the real world.
