Module 5: Case Studies
Module 5 Objectives
- Develop an appreciation of How Nodal Analysis can be applied to solve “real-life” problems
- Defining the problem, developing a project-specific work methodology
- Building Cases, running Sensitivities
- The bigger picture: Understanding the full implication of calculation results
Module 5 Contents
- Natural Flow (Optimising Tubing Size)
- Electric Submersible Pump (Pump Operating Envelope)
- Hydraulic Submersible Pump (Pump Operating Envelope)
- Gas Lift
- Performance Curve
- Tubing Punch
- Gas Lift Design
- Gas Well: Developing a full Life Cycle Completion & Well Remediation Strategy
- CT-ESP: Defining a Practical Operating Envelope (ESP deployed via Coiled Tubing)
Course Fee Includes
- 5 days access to two, pre-recorded videos
Recommended Skills Level: Intermediate
MODULE 5 is aimed at engineers who know what the inflow/outflow curves are, and understand how they are impacted by changes in producing conditions such as WC, WHP, Pres, GOR, etc.
If you are new to Nodal Analysis, MODULE 1 is recommended before taking MODULE 5.
